Scarborough’s Hollow opportunities: employment, vendor, influencer
Scarborough’s Hollow Fall Fantasy Festival has several opportunities this season, which kicks off Saturday, Oct. 11.
“Come join Scarborough’s Hollow for the most fun you’ll ever have at work,” the entertainment venue’s website reads. “We offer employee discounts, opportunities for advancement, and much more.”
Seasonal, part-time positions include food and beverage sales, cooks and kitchen help, haunted and funhouse actors, souvenir sales, front gate and ticket office personnel, grounds crew, and other. Costumed and non-costume positions are available.
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age, with most jobs having higher age requirements.
New and returning employees are encouraged to complete their applications as soon as possible once it posts. Applicants will be contacted to schedule an interview; they must have two forms of valid identification.

“When you are hired as an employee at Scarborough’s Hollow, you are expected to be available to work the seven festival days, including Halloween evening,” according to the website. “Employees/participants must be neatly groomed at all times and avoid extremes in jewelry, hairstyles, and hair color. Guest contact positions require a period costume.”
Dates to know
• Sept. 6 – a job fair for employees will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the main office, 2511 Farm-to-Market 66, Waxahachie
• Oct. 4 – mandatory orientation
Scarborough’s Hollow will run Saturdays, Oct. 11-Nov. 15, and on Friday, Oct. 31.
Vendor applications
Scarborough’s Hollow is still accepting applications for artisan shoppes and vendors for the 2025 season, according to its website, which notes, however, that the apparel category has been closed for the season. Applications are due by Sept. 15, and submitting an application is not a guarantee of acceptance. Click here for the vendor application.
Influencer opportunities
Scarborough’s Hollow Fall Fantasy Festival operates multiple social media channels: TikTok, Facebook, YouTube @SRFestival, and Instagram @theSRFestival and is “looking to collaborate with high-quality influencers, vloggers, bloggers, and others who help us share information about our event and happenings at the festival in alignment with our mission and family-friendly environment,” according to its website.
