Catch up with South Metro Weather at WeatherCon 2025 on Saturday, April 26
Ellis County’s own Kevin Crouch of South Metro Weather is among the booth invitees that will be on hand for WeatherCon 2025 to be held Saturday, April 26, at the Frontiers of Flight Museum next to Love Field Airport in Dallas.

Both admission and parking are free for the family-friendly event, which will run from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. WBAP and KDFW Fox 4 are hosts for WeatherCon 2025, which is presented by Mullen and Mullen Injury Law Firm and has Blue Ribbon Roofing as its title sponsor.
Attendees at WeatherCon 2025 can participate in the following and more:
- Meet and greets with Fox 4 Weather team members, including chief meteorologist Dan Henry
- Storm chaser vehicles on display, allowing a glimpse of what it takes to track down some of the area’s most intense storms
- An interactive kids zone with crafts, coloring, paper airplane toss for prizes, and face painting
- Presentations from some of the top weather experts with stories of storms past and tips on how to stay safe during the next one
- Multiple vendors on site, with multiple drawings every hour
