TML recognizes Glenn Heights councilmember for service

GLENN HEIGHTS – The city of Glenn Heights recently announced that Councilmember Travis Bruton has received formal recognition from Texas Municipal League President Allison Heyward for his dedicated service on the TML State Legislative Committee.

Councilmember Bruton served alongside municipal leaders from across Texas, helping shape legislative priorities that support cities statewide. His contributions focused on strengthening local governance, protecting municipal authority, and improving outcomes for Texas communities.

President Heyward expressed her appreciation for Councilmember Bruton’s leadership, stating, “Thank you for your passion and commitment on the TML Legislative Committee. Serving alongside you was an honor, and I’ll always treasure the time we worked side by side. Your hard work uplifted Texas cities and left a lasting impact on them.”
