The Singapore Slingers in concert this Saturday at the Chautauqua
The Waxahachie Symphony Association presents Matt Tolentino & The Singapore Slingers this Saturday, April 11, at the historic Waxahachie Chautauqua Auditorium.
Dubbed the “coolest, quirkiest, retro jazz group” in the Metroplex by the Dallas Observer, the Slingers bring the golden age of music to life, with a lively repertoire spanning ragtime, the Jazz Age, and the early swing era.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the concert starting at 7:30 p.m.
“Come early and enjoy a sweet treat: Georgie Boy’s Ice Cream will be on-site serving up ice cream for all guests,” a spokesman said. “Gather your friends, step back in time, and let the music carry you away. We can’t wait to see you there.”
