City of Ennis and Destination Ennis announce settlement
ENNIS – The City of Ennis and Ennis Main Street 501(c)(3) doing business as Destination Ennis, are delighted to jointly announce that they have reached a mutually agreed-upon resolution to the recent lawsuit between the two organizations.
Both parties engaged in respectful dialogue throughout this process, ultimately arriving at a settlement that reflects a shared commitment to moving forward in a positive and productive manner. While the matter has now been resolved, the City and Destination Ennis are focused on continuing to serve and strengthen the Ennis community.
“This resolution marks an important step forward,” said City of Ennis Mayor Lynda Isbell. “We are pleased to put this matter behind us and reaffirm our shared dedication to the residents, businesses, and visitors of Ennis.”
