Catch ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’ this weekend as WCT’s production hits the stage
Looking to enjoy some holiday cheer? Waxahachie Community Theatre presents its annual holiday production this weekend, Dec. 12-14. This year’s performance is of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” which is based on the 1972 same-named children’s novel by Barbara Robinson.

“In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids – probably the most inventively awful kids in history,” a spokesman said. “You won’t believe the mayhem – and the fun – when the Herdmans collide head-on with the story of Christmas.”
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, with all performances held at University Church, 221 Solon Road, Waxahachie. Tickets are $15 general admission, with preschool-aged children admitted free.
